ABOUT DEEJAVU ART AND DESIGN

Deejavu is the home of original art by international selling artist Dee Summers (yes that is me). I live on the beautiful Isle of Wight, just off the south coast of England, UK. The beautiful island landscapes and my lifelong love for oriental arts and crafts inspire much of my work.

 

Representative of contemporary Japonisme, my art style can be quite eclectic but much of it reflects a love of bold colour and strong design culminating in eye-catching statement pieces which are a real feature. I create artwork that I love, and am humbled by the fantastic reviews I have received from my customers; a fact I don’t take lightly. Over the years I have used a range of mediums, but particularly enjoy working in acrylic on canvas and creating pen and ink drawings, which I colour using high pigment artists pencils. 

 

Following many years of painting and creating works of art, Deejavu was born in 2012 to offer my original art for sale. More recently, this has developed into recreating my more popular designs on to a range of products.
